We’ve planned lots of fun things for you to do over the Easter holidays. There’s lots of exploring to do from joining in with a Cadbury egg hunt to finding hidden geocaches around the Park. On days where we haven’t got an event, create your own self-led adventure and see if you can tick off any of the ‘50 Things to do before you’re 11 3/4’ activities. Don’t miss our daily activities… Inside the Mansion Spring Trail 11am—5.30pm (last entry 4.30pm) Daily, Free Explore the Mansion with a children’s trail, and on selected days discover the cooks in the kitchen whipping up recipes from the 1800s. Explore the grounds with a free family trail. Pick one up from Visitor Reception and discover the Park ‘springing’ back into life. Easter at Attingham Cadbury Egg Hunts Early Egg Hunt Fun Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 April, 10am – 4pm, £2.50 per trail (includes Cadbury chocolate prize). Try our trails before the holiday rush. Will the real challenge be whether you can save your chocolate-y prize for Easter weekend? Spring Trail March—end of May, Free Explore the grounds with our spring trail; find out how Attingham Park is bursting into life throughout the spring as the season progresses from the cold, quite months into a riot of colour and growth. Pick up your Spring Trail from Visitor Reception. Get Geocaching and Orienteering Wednesday 12 and 19 April, 11am-4pm, Geo. £3.50, Orient. £1. Easter Weekend Egg Hunt Fun Friday 14 – Monday 17 April, 10am – 4pm, £2.50 per trail (includes Cadbury chocolate prize). Bunny's been playing a trick on Lord Berwick and is hiding. Cheeky Bunny's laid a special Easter trail around the grounds for you to follow. Can you find his hiding place and claim your chocolate-y prize? Hire a device to hunt out our geocaches and tick off number 49 on the list of 50 things to do before you're 11 ¾. Specialists from Cotswold Outdoor will be on hand to show you the ropes. Limited number of devices, first come, first served. Or pick up an orienteering map (£1) and see how quickly you can complete our course (compasses can be bought, £1). Spring Crafts Thursday 20 April, 11am—1pm, £2.50 to take part (inc. up to 3 crafts) Wild times: back to nature Tuesday 11 and Tuesday 18 April, 10am –4pm, £5 per child Leave the screens and technology behind and join the WildLife Survival school at Attingham for fun around the campfire and to make a hand-crafted item. This activity is suitable for children aged 5-11 years old, accompanied by an adult. Sessions will take place at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm on each day. Places are limited for each session and should be booked in advance via the WildLife Survival School at http://wildlifesurvivalschool.nutickets.com Have an egg-cellent time at Attingham and get crafty at our drop in Spring Crafts. A variety of spring themed crafts including egg cup decorating, mask making and flower making will be available. Admission charges apply for entry to Attingham Park, National Trust members and under 5s visit for free. Additional charges apply to take part in some events/activities. Our events and activities help support the upkeep of the 4,000 acre estate. As well as providing fun and entertainment we try to reflect the stories and spirit of Attingham in our programme.
