Boys and Girls for Quail Hill 2017 Wild West Summer Camp Quail Hill provides a safe and enriching environment for all girls and boys entering 1st grade through 5th grade to participate in healthy, developmentally appropriate activities and learning experiences. Your child will have fun and make new friends while exploring new experiences. This summer at Quail Hill is going to be action packed fun! Join us for a summer full of excitement and adventure at our 225 acres of woodlands, streams, meadows, fields, Olympic size pool and pond. Your child will be encouraged to try their hands at a wide variety of activities each day. Their highly trained supervisors will guide them through all our activity areas. Each Friday the program closes with a family night including a barbecue followed by a campfire in our natural amphitheater under the stars. Join us as we watch your child’s camp den perform their skit. Day Camp Sessions are a series of 6 weeks from Monday - Friday, 9 am - 4:30 pm. Resident Camp We offer a wide variety of overnight programs in addition to their day camp experience. Your child's evening are filled with activities, campfires, star gazing and programs teaching camping and important life skills. Your son will share a spacious two bunk tent with a friend. We also provide hot meals, shower facilities and experienced staff. Two - Half week programs are available for all boys entering 1st through 5th grades. One - Full week program is offered specifically for boys entering 4th and 5th grade. No daily rates are available. Check -In from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm on opening day of camp. Scouts should eat dinner before their arrival at camp. All meals during Resident Camp are Provided. To secure your spot send in the registration page with full payment to Qualified Staff Each of our camping programs is administered by a nationally certified camp director and program director along with a health officer (nurse or EMT). All staff members are required to complete special training and are highly qualified. Dens Your child will be in a small group with other campers entering the same grade in September. All activities are age appropriate based on skill level, age, and grade. Every effort will be made to keep campers in the same den with their friend. Child Safety Safety is a primary consideration at camp. We work closely with the Boy Scouts of America, local, county and state agencies and emergency services to ensure camper safety. We follow a strict set of national, state and local guidelines and maintain a National Accreditation.” Health Form All participants must submit a current health form in order to attend any of our summer programs. Before and After Care Parents will have the opportunity to drop their children off as early as 7:30 am for a pre-care program and they will be able to pick up as late as 6:00 pm after our afternoon program. There will be an additional $75.00 cost for the week whether you participate in either program or both. (No daily rates) Bus Transportation Bus transportation is available for our Day Camp sessions at $65.00 per week. You will receive final confirmation of your bus stop prior to your youngster starting camp . There will be a required minimum of 10 riders for us to run the bus for that week at camp. Bus stop locations will be listed on the camp website at ww www. w.qh q srrca qh camp mp.o mp org rg. No daily rates are available. Family Fun Night Every Friday night is family night at Quail Hill. Come and enjoy our barbecue, games and our campfire program under the stars. Cost is $8 per person. Campers are free. Early Early Bird Discount Send in full payment before December 31, 2016 and receive early early bird discount, $20 Off per session. Early Bird Discount Send in full payment between Jan. 1, 2016 and May 8, 2017 and receive early bird discount, $15 Off per session. Multi-Week Discount Receive $10 Off each additional week per camper. Sign up for all six weeks and get one week free. Six week discounts can not be combined with any other discount. Refund Policy Each session price includes a $50 non-refundable deposit. Refunds for the balance of the fee are made only for the following: - Serious Illness, accident or death in the immediate family. - Your child is required to attend summer school which conflicts with camp schedule. - All refund requests must be made in writing and submitted with any documentation to the Council Service Center prior to August 31, 2017. Camperships No Child should miss camp due to lack of resources. Camperships are a form of financial assistance and are available for only one session. Campership applications must be submitted by April 1, 2017 and will be awarded based upon need and availability of funds. No full Camperships are provided.
