Monday :start the book—complete each page of book—cardstock and strips

Cut out and arrange the graphics and passage = 1 page per day of learning

Friday: finish the book—Finish gluing story grpahics to book pages
Finish book with ribbon holding the pages together
Ribbon—glue ( double stick tape will also work but is more expensive)
—turn pages over and lineup next to each other
—glue ribbon across all near top and bottom of the book

Day 2 Craft— Faith box
Tools needed craft for both levels:
Glue and Scissors
Paper and paper plates
Before class Prep work
Materials for craft for Sand cross
Copy pattern on cardstock

Instructions: Sand art cross
1.
Cut out cardtock pattern box
2.
Decorate the handles and sides using sponges and paint
3.
Glue a graphic on each of the larger front and back panels of box

Day 3 Craft— Sand art Cross
Tools needed craft for both levels:
Sponge makeup applicators (to apply glue fingers work also)
Scissors for upper grade level
Paper for catching excess sand using paper to also sprinkle the sand onto the glued area

Materials for craft for Sand cross
Sand art cross cutouts—1 large
and 1 small white cardstock
1.
Use card stock cross to trace outside on brown construction paper then cut out the
white area of the Cardstock cross
2.
Cut Small center cardstock cross (small black(red) cross)
mix black and brown sand together for a texture look
Borwn and black sand –can mix
with clear glitter for a sparkle
effect

Loop a ribbon piece and tape to the brown construction paper cross to use as hanger
tape in an area where the white cross will be glued—this will strengthen the hanger

Glue the sand cross to the center of the white cross
5.
Place 3D dots on the brown cross first then position the white cross into center

Day 4 Craft— Crown of life
Tools needed craft for both levels
Craft Glue or elmers regular glue
Scissors for upper grade level
Can also cut a paper crown out of paper plates
for the younger students (see instruction pg)
Before class Prep work
Materials for craft for eternal crown plaque
Cardstock patterns:
Square—4 Trianglar pieces—crown
Green marble shelf paper - or -
Instructions: Eternal Crown wall plaque
1.
Cut out and cover the square with wood grained shelf paper cover top first
and tape paper clip to back side before covering the back side
2.
Cut out and cover all triangular shapes with green paper
3.
Using the 3-D dots in each corner, place the triangles onto the wood grained
square
4.
Decorate the crown: glue crown to golden paper and cut out then decorate
the crown with the sequins or jewels
5.
Using 3-D Dots on each side of crown, place crown in center of the plaque.
You can use metallic green paper
