Did You Notice?
Did you notice the new look and feel
to www.IRMC.cc? IRMC launched its new
website for the community last week.
And did you know the “EVENTS”
section is a great place to tell the community
what’s going on? From support groups to
education seminars, and more. If there are
events—from
one-time events
such as blood
drives, to repeating
events such as
maternity tours—
we want to tell
the public. One
great feature
is all the
events are easy
to share on social media
and to add to calendars as invites.
Send the following items to
[email protected] and they can be posted
on the new IRMC website. Please include:
• Event name
•Topic
•Date
•Time
•Cost
•Location
• Contact name and email address
• A short description

ACS’s Relay for Life a Celebration of Life
Forty IRMC team members and
volunteers helped make the American Cancer
Society’s Relay for Life on the Beaches a great
success earlier this month. The team—more
than double last year’s size—met its
fundraising goal and made quite a splash
with its “Under the C” team tent. So much so
that the Scully Welsh Cancer Center won first
place for our booth!
Many thanks go to all of you who
supported the relay this year. Through your

Every year come May, the Foundation looks to
the IRMC team of employees and Auxilians to help fill
more than 150 volunteer positions that are needed
to make the May Pops fundraising event a success.
Volunteers assist with everything from mailings and
set-up prior to the event to manning the admission
gates, serving as greeters, concierge attendants, ice
cream servers, courtesy transportation shuttle, media
escorts, trash removal services during the event, and
breakdown and clean-up after the event and so much
more. The IRMC Team stepped up once again this
year — we couldn’t have done it without you! Many
thanks from the Foundation!
