Local
Farm
Damaged
by Storm
By Timothy Jones
Minister Thomas Hooker
and his followers left
Massachusetts today
because of religious
disagreements.
“We intend to form a new
colony, Connecticut, and
establish a fair law and
order there” –T. Hooker
Hooker recently
established the
Fundamental Orders of
Connecticut, a set of
principles, which defined
the power of the new

English
mapmaker and
explorer finds
new land!
By Mathew Johnson
By: Marshall Jacobson
The farm of local colonial
men, Samuel Langley, was damaged severely in
the last big storm. Samuel and his two young
sons are having difficulty recovering from the
damage and ask for our support. We should do
the neighborly thing and help this poor farmer
before it is to late the winter freeze arrives. If we
don’t chip in his family could starve. The church
will take donations during the next three services.
New
Butter Churn
Design
By Joshua Reed
A puritan couple re-designed the butter churn. The new
design is said to be more efficient and create “more better
butter faster” according to the inventor, Puritan Samuel
Clein.
Sir. William Penn Wright, of the
mother country, has discovered
new land beyond the great
mountains. He describes the land
as “beautiful by gods creation and
dangerous the
like.” He has
mapped the
new land and
the maps are
on sale now
at the general
store for five
shillings.
Come see the
artful creation.
Best Hand-Crafted
Wagons
By Lisa Loucaster
Our colony will soon have a new wagon-smith. Mr.
Kaiser is coming over from Germany and is said to be
the very best wagon maker in the old country. He has
been making wagons for nearly 30 years and has
created nearly 250 masterpieces. He will sell his
wagons for a reasonable price also and will also barter
for a good milking cow and fresh vegetables.
