Yountville Parks & Recreation
those going into 6th-8th grades. YTX Members meet at Yountville Elementary School each morning before setting off to the
Yountville Community Center and other local venues for the

day. Weekly activities will include games, arts, community service, sports, swimming, walking
LIGHTS, CAMERA, LEGO’S
fieldtrips, gym time at Yountville Fitness and Health, an out of Town field trip, and SO MUCH
Build sets and write a script for a stop-motion Lego adventure movie directed by YOU and
your friends! Also produce and direct your very own LEGO short movies. Engineers and
creative minds work together to produce Lego films in the style of Nightmare Before
Christmas, Chicken Run and Wallace and Grommit.

CREATIVE HAND SEWING AND TEXTILES
Come explore your creative side in this brand new class! Develop and make
projects using fabric, yarn, and other new and recycled materials. Crafts may
include: patchwork picture frames, ribbon roses, material collages, and yarn
weaving. No sewing experience necessary; all crafts will be made by hand.

Are you looking for a smaller group environment with more individual attention?
Does your child get lost in the shuffle at the big camps? Camp Yville would be a great
fit for you and your child. For about $4 per hour, and with a low staff to camper ratio
we are proud to offer twice a week visits to the Yountville Pool and weekly visits to
the Napa Valley Museum for a special hands on program. We also take walking fieldtrips to local parks, gardening both on site and at the Veterans Home and each
Thursday we take a charter bus to an exciting destination. There is still plenty of time
to do arts, crafts, cooking activities, sports, games, drama, dance and so much more!
We guarantee your camper will be worn out and happy at the end of a day at Camp
Y-Ville. You are not going to want to miss any of this year’s summer fun with Miss
Carol and her amazing staff! Our camp is open to any child entering Kindergarten
through 5th grade.

End of Camp Extravaganza - We will be ending the summer in style with a production by
the campers for our VIP Guests. Walk the Red Carpet at our end of the summer barbecue

At the Yountville Community Pool we teach Red Cross Swim Lessons.
Classes meet Tuesday - Friday for 8/30 minute lessons. Fees are $51/$45
with Resident Discount. Session 2 is $46/$40 due to July 4 holiday.

New this summer we are offering private swim lessons. Each 30 minute lesson will
give your swimmer the undivided attention of one of our skilled swim instructors. All
ages and levels are welcome. Each time slot will be limited to 4 students.
$29/$25 with Resident Discount per Lesson
2nd child can be added for a semi private lesson for an additional $15.
