Learners visit Dubai
to get top marks!
Twenty students studying Business and Travel & Tourism
visited Dubai last term as part of their studies. The lucky
learners got first-hand knowledge of international business
and tourism, helping them to get top marks in their module
assignments.
The five-day educational visit, partially funded by the students
and subsidised by the College, allowed them to carry out
their own research and to learn by seeing and doing – rather
than in the classroom. Additionally they experienced different
cultures, customs, cuisine and belief systems.
Business student, Tara Clifford, said: “Being in Dubai gave
me knowledge and understanding which I could never gain
from a text book. Experience is vital to learning. This
experience has broadened my way of thinking.”

Tourism you can apply online or contact our Course
