Overview
The FB3 has been designed specifically to meet the needs of
transporting softer fruits and vegetables to preserve the integrity of
these delicate produce. This foldable plastic hire hat-bin is a shallower
version of the existing FB2 and is made here in Australia, for the
Australian market. The FB3 is one of the latest additions to the CHEP
plastic product range.
Weighing just under 40 kilograms, the FB3 is easier to manage and can
easily be erected within seconds, reducing labour and handling costs.
Made from high quality food grade plastic, the FB3 is longer lasting and
more durable than the one-trip cardboard alternatives. Not to mention, it
has a superior stacking configuration and allows for optimisation both in
transportation and storage.
As with other products in the CHEP pool, customers have total flexibility
to order the quantity they need, when they need them. This can take the
burden off paying for cardboard hat-bins that typically need to be bought
in large quantities to be cost effective. This also eases the uncertainty
of over-ordering and being left with a need to store them or under
ordering that can cause issues down the supply chain.
