 Top selling class will get a pizza party from Pizza Man
 Last year 1,250 pizzas were sold for a profit of $3,750 – year before profit was $1,400

11. Family Fun Event – February – Board Game Night (Amy Hoyer & Missy Harris)
 Friday, February 17th 6:30 – 8:30
 Popcorn, cookies, water & juice boxes – popcorn takes ½ hour to fill entire machine
 we have some items left over from prior family fun event - approximately 20 cookies left, 40 bottles of water & 54 juice
boxes

 Julie will give event items to you – banners, donation jar, etc.

12. Monthly Staff Treats for 50 people (remember gluten free as well) (LaDona Maher)

13. Holiday Party Juice Boxes (Julie Stoltenburg)
 Provide juices boxes for students at parties including Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day, Dr. Seuss
14. Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Celebration March 2nd
 We will again order cupcakes (white cake, white frosting with sprinkles) from Sam’s Club. Also, need napkins and
drinks. Teachers will pick up party supplies from staff lounge and serve their own classes.
15. Family Fun Event – March – Books for Breakfast (LaDona Maher & Tina Gipford)
 Wednesday, March 22nd 7:30am-8:30am
 Order Juice, milk, donuts, fruit through Food Service. give heads up on date & confirm menu. More fruit? How about
yogurt?
 2 shifts setup and cleanup. Need to 2 tables for food so we have 2 lines, one on either side of gyms doors to minimize
congestion. Need more shifts during event so all can get time to read with their kids. – LaDona will send out volunteer
link. Check with Mr. Groh for classroom opening morning of event, open right away. donated extra fruit and donuts to
High School for blood drive. Nice to have so many staff members volunteer to help serve. Received $65.00 in cash
donations.

18. Fundraiser – October - Candy Sale – (Traci Turner)
 Candy leftover – 1138 Bars, 16 Boxes = $1,170
 Sent email to PC families & note in newsletter to ask to sell or buy candy
 What to do with the leftover candy, how much do we sell it for?
o Put in staff lounges at schools – box at Hillcrest & High School, Traci did you put at Middle School?
o Ann Anderson – she wants to look at her current inventory first
o Julie sent an email to basketball & wrestling associations
o split among teachers to give as rewards to students?
o Carnival prizes, bucket raffle or sucker tree type game
o other ideas?
 How many families have outstanding payments? Emails & Notes have been sent to families. Note in newsletter as
well.
 Last reward was Movie & Popcorn on Jan 20th - thank you Mr. Groh, Charity, Crystal and Jake for helping

 Sale extended to January 12th
 Profit so far $293 + $83 = $376
 Want to get in Panther Den yet
 Will do another sale – thinking next October
 Get a few items together for bucket raffle at Carnival

 Will reach out to have a joint meeting in April, will need merge by June? Discuss Field Day with them as well
