YEARBOOK: Attention all Grads! Go to the schools website, click on the red link, and fill out
the form with your student information, grad quote and upload your baby photo! Make sure
you read the write-up guidelines first!! They must be completed and submitted by January
10th. No late submissions will be accepted!!
MATH CONTEST: The result of Canadian Open Math Competition has been released.
Congratulations to Angela Zhao, Jerry Meng, Lio Cui, Jackson Zou, and Jinan Zhao for ranking in
the top five in the school!! Students can come to the club to see the preliminary result.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Students remember it is your responsibility to keep Ms. Gregory and Ms.
Horvath up to date on your placement. Check REMIND!! Any forms you may need are on the
WEX class site.
SHARE FOOD DRIVE: Congratulations to Ms. Quach and ticket #3790471 on winning the Share
Food Drive Raffle. Please come to the office to collect your prize. Thank you to everyone who
donated.
LIBRARY CARDS: Please return or renew your library books before the break!! Mrs. Eaton will
give you a treat if you do!!
GLENEAGLE CLOTHING: Attention all students who ordered Gleneagle clothing online, there
are still many students who have not picked up their clothing order. Please come see Mr.
Bingley in room 222 to pick up your clothing so you can have it over the holiday break.

FESTIVE DOORS: Vote for your favorite festive door! Eight doors have been decorated in the
school and need your feedback! Check out the doors in the Library, Room 106,108 & 214, Ms.
McRae’s office, Ms. Bogen’s room, Mrs. Stewart’s room (between 121 & 123) and Ms. Clausen’s

TALENT SHOW: Attention all Gleneagle talent! After winter break, we will be hosting the
auditions for Gleneagle’s February Talent Show! Let us know if you plan to attend the auditions
by filling out the Google Form on the Gleneagle Talent Show Facebook page. Get your act
together, and see you then!!
CAREER RESOURCE/VOLUNTEERING/EVENTS
SCHULICH LEADER SCHOLARSHIPS: Are the largest and most prestigious undergraduate
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) scholarships in Canada. Students must plan
to enroll in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics program, and possess two of
the following Criteria: academic excellence, leadership, or financial need.



50 student awards to be granted nationally
Scholarship committee will select one graduating student for nomination from PMSS
each scholarship includes up to $100,000 in funding to attend one of the 20 partner
universities: see page 2 for a list of these institutions.
Please submit the following documents to complete your application to Ms. McRae or Ms.

BACHELOR OF MEDIA STUDIES - Okanagan Campus: This four-year, directentry program combines digital media arts, visual art, computer science,
social science and humanities. Students in this program will have the
opportunity to take media-related positions and courses that involve
research. Application to this program will require a portfolio submission.
BACHELOR OF FINE ARTS – Vancouver Campus: The BFA is now a direct entry
program. This change did not make it into the 2016 -2017 Viewbook, but
can be found on the BC Program Specific Requirements page of the
website.
