Media platforms are where the lost are. We will meet these lost
people right where they are—on TV, radio, internet and social
media platforms. Even here in Borneo it seems that even in
more remote places, people are getting more access to these
platforms. The more reason we should use them as well, so
they will not only be influenced by the worldly media. We
strongly anticipate a new season here for spreading the gospel
to the nations, particularly here in Asia and the Indonesian
island of Borneo.

FAMILY MATTERS
Jason with one of his favorite
spreads called ‘Speculoos’ typically Dutch
Jason, our youngest son, already speaks a lot of Bahasa
Indonesia, is mingling very well with all the Indonesian
kids and has lots of friends. The only thing is that he
still prefers to eat bread instead of rice (which is being
served 3 times a day) and he is very picky on eating
vegetables. He does not like meat, fish, eggs, tofu, tempé
etc., so it sometimes is a real hassle. We expect when he
grows older he will try and like more, as we have seen
before. Jason gets lot of attention of the older girls who
find him funny and “ganteng” an Indonesian word
meaning ‘handsome’. After the summer period we will
try to start with Dutch language lessons as he turned 4
last April. When he is 5 he will attend the SD (sekolah
dasar), primary school here in the ministry.
