In 2017, SYHA Hostelling Scotland, together with their long-standing partners, will host a selection
of top-of-the-range activity short breaks and longer holidays to suit most outdoor enthusiasts and
newcomers to the great outdoors, all looking for that new, exciting and achievable adventure, in
some of the most breath-taking and remote landscapes in Scotland.
From the more challenging winter and summer Munro bagging in Torridon and the Isle of Skye to
the more gentle west coast island hopping; and from long-distance trail walking on the Cape
Wrath Trail to a new creative craft and tales weekend at Loch Ossian in March, SYHA’s activity
holidays are perfectly suited to a range of interests.
They are also a great way for adventurers of all ages and fitness and skill levels to achieve their
personal goals with like-minded people, whilst also having the best hostelling experience Scotland
has to offer.
Yet again partnering with some of the best adventure activity providers in Scotland, including C-NDo Scotland and Nineonesix Guiding, and hugely experienced mountain guides such as George
Yeomans – and providing action packed itineraries, together with top-quality budget
accommodation in some of Scotland’s most stunning locations – SYHA’s 2017 activity holidays
offer huge value for money.
SYHA sales manager, Donna Thompson, said: “We continually receive very positive feedback
about our activity breaks and holidays from our participants.
“SYHA collaborates with local and experienced guides and instructors who, in addition to their
area of expertise, have the additional knowledge of the locality of the trip. This helps ensure we
continue to offer great value and fantastic experiences for all.”
J Scott who took part in the seven-day Torridon Munro trip in 2016 summed up their trip as a
“first rate holiday by any measure”.
For people wanting to create a memorable outdoor adventure as a last-minute Christmas gift for
that special person in their lives, SYHA also sell gift vouchers.
These can be purchased online or via the sales office on 03452 93 7373 / email
