What are the system requirements for using MCS Starlink?
Answer:
To access MCS Starlink, you will need the following:

A computer with Internet connection.
An operating system (e.g. Windows 7) and browser software (e.g. Internet Explorer 9)
This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 9, with JavaScript enabled and 128-bit SSL encryption
Best screen resolution is 1024 x 768, horizontal scrolling shall be required for resolution below this
standard

a user ID and password to Logon to MCS Starlink.

Please contact your local MCS representatives to get access to MCS Starlink.

What are the MCS Starlink User ID and Password requirements?
Answer:
MCS Starlink logon is based on a unique username and password. The username and password
combination is unique to each user. Our system requires an alphanumeric username (8 to 12 characters)
and a password consisting of 8 characters with a minimum of 3 letters and 3 numbers (e.g. "sklA1739",
"pzazz789" or "31415xyz"). Please note password is case sensitive.

What should I do if I have forgotten my MCS Starlink password?
Answer:
If you have forgotten my MCS Starlink password, please click “Forgot Password” on the logon page to
reset the password. You will be asked to fill in your User ID and email address. A new password will be
email to you. Please note the email address should be the same as the one registered in your User Profile.

How can I change my registered email?
Answer:
After successful logon to MCS Starlink, click User Profile on the top right corner of the screen. You can
change your personal information include email and password through the User Profile screen.

change your personal information include email and password through the User Profile screen.

Do I need to change password regularly?
Answer:
Yes. For security reason, you are required to change password once at least 120 days, otherwise your
account will be locked. Click “Forget Password” and follow the procedure to reset your password and
unlock your account.
10. How to update my User Profile information?
Answer:
After successful logon to MCS Starlink, click User Profile on the top right corner of the screen. You can
change your personal information include email and password through the User Profile screen.
11. Why you cannot logon to MCS Starlink?
Answer:
Following are the common reasons cannot logon to MCS Starlink:

Press CTRL+F5 to refresh cache data which may be outdated.
Make sure your User ID and Password are entered correctly. Password is case sensitive.
Your account will be locked if password is not changed regularly. You are required to change
password at least once every 120 days. Click “Forget Password” to reset password.

12. Why system kicks you out?
Answer:
For security purpose, system will log off automatically when system is idle for more than 15 minutes.
13. Why does it take a long time to get into your site? And is there a solution for this?
Answer:
Factors like traffic, quality of telephone line, speed and quality of modem, server capacity may affect the
speed of Internet access and the response of the site. A minimum modem speed of 56kbps is
recommended. If you encounter slow response at our site, please check if there is a similar problem at
another site; or you can contact us and give us all the particulars of the incident.
14. Why some screen content is missing?
Answer:
When system ask “Only secure content is displayed?” Click “Show All Content”.
Question will disappear in a few seconds. Click F5 to refresh the screen and question will be asked again.
Setting to always “show all content” so that system will not prompt.
Go to menu bar to select: Internet Options > Security > Click to highlight “Trusted sites” > click “Custom
Level” to bring up below screen. Click Enable under Display mixed content as below:
15. Why can’t reach login screen?
Answer:
Local internet service provider have stored old/out-dated ip address for website
www.molconsolidation.com
Click “Start” on Windows menu.
Enter “cmd” in the Start menu search text box.
Right-click “Command Prompt” and select “Run as Administrator”.
Run the command “ipconfig /flushdns”.
If the command succeeded, the system returns the follow message.
Re-open website www.molconsolidation.com in new session. If website still not reachable, contact
