The MPOptimate 24 fiber Quick-Fit MPO/MPO cassettes are designed
for data center solutions supporting the topologies as specified in the
datacenter standards EN50173-5 and ISO/IEC 24764.
The MPO/MPO cassettes meet and exceed the attenuation and return loss specifications for
datacenter applications like 100 gigabit Ethernet. 24 fiber MPOptimate cassettes are used to
connect 24 fiber MPOptimate trunk or 24 fiber MPOptimate patch cables and provide the possibility
to make crossconnections or inter-connections to end equipment.

24 fiber MPO/MPO 100G MPOptimate cassettes exist in 4 connector implementations: one and
two 100G ports and polarity A and B wire map configuration.

Each MPO connector in the front does have 20 active fibers supporting the 2x10 lane 100G wiremap.

The 24 fiber MPOptimate cassettes are designed to fit in the 19 inch AMP NETCONNECT
AMP Hi-D modular MPO panels and the UCP panels that both support up to four MPO
Quick-Fit cassettes.
The Quick-Fit MPO cassettes have port labels (included) and port ID strips. The labels are protected
by a transparent cover.

Specification
MPO Quick-Fit 100G cassettes with MPO/MPO connectors have optimized optical performances to meet the latest ISO 11801, Cenelec, EN 50173
and TIA-568 C standard and the latest IEEE 10-40-100G Ethernet application specifications.
The cassette attenuation performance must be for OM4 ≤ 0.5 dB (max.) and the cassette return loss must be ≥ 27 dB (min).
The MPO cassettes shall have [1x 100G - 2x 100G port] in the front and [1x 24 fiber – 2x 24 fiber] MPO connector(s) on the back side. Each 24 fiber
MPO connector in the front does have 20 active fibers supporting the 2x10 lane 100G wiremap. The MPO cassettes are available in polarity A and
polarity B version to create links with the correct wire map. The 100G MPO cassettes will have OM4 bend insensitive Multi Mode fiber.
Each MPO cassette has a front plate with [1 -2] x MPO adaptors with a clear port number identification.
Each MPO cassette has a space that allows extra labeling of the MPO ports. The labeling space shall be protected with a transparent cover.
The MPO Quick-Fit cassettes have the same footprint and fixating method as the copper and fiber Quick-Fit snap-in modules. That will allow combining
copper and fiber modules/cassettes in the same patch panel.
