Stop by and see a preview of Allison Luce’s installation, AEVUM
SPATIVMQVE ANTIQVVM. Ms. Luce is the 2015-16 Artist-inResidence for Noble and Greenough School. Her work explores the
ephemeral nature of existence and the mystery of eternity through her
ceramic sculptures and installations. Coming from Charlotte, North
Carolina, Ms. Luce has exhibited widely through the South, MidAtlantic, the Northeast and Germany.

academics, the arts, athletics, student life and our extensive
travel/immersion and service programs. Please take a
few minutes to familiarize yourself with the morning’s
schedule; you are free to choose which panels you want to
attend and when. Campus tours are offered throughout the
morning, departing from the Putnam Library (but keep
in mind that applicants to Nobles will tour with a current

DESCRIPTION: At Nobles, we feel a deep sense of obligation to prepare
and inspire our students to assume responsibility for every community
they enter. To this end, our academic programs aim to develop in our
students the intellectual skills, capabilities and confidence necessary
to tackle the most difficult challenges and solve the most complex
problems. We also endeavor to prepare leaders who will inspire
and instill confidence while working collaboratively with others. The
academic program in the Upper School begins with a more structured
curriculum of skills-based, college-preparatory classes for ninth and
tenth graders and concludes in the junior and senior years with a wide
array of research, applied-learning and Advanced Placement classes.

DESCRIPTION: The Nobles five-day boarding program offers a unique
opportunity for students interested in a valuable residential life
experience during their high school years. The program challenges
residents to be productive and positive members of a special family
within the Nobles community. Our on-campus student to faculty ratio
is 2:1 and it allows us to create a safe and purposeful environment in the
residence halls which is conducive to academic excellence. We believe
that a Nobles boarder receives the best of both worlds: the support and
constant presence of a loving family and the academic guidance and
supervision of a supportive faculty. A panel of boarding students will
be available to answer any questions that families may have about the
program. A tour of the facility will be offered after the panel.
