Sub: Supply of information under the Right to Information Act, 2005, application from Shri
Mohammed Ali Alam Shaikh, Mumbai (M.S.) seeking information on "Publication and
reports" (Ref: DAC Regn. No.DO.A.&C/R/2015/00614 dated 06.04.2015).
Sir,
This is in continuation to this office letter of even number dated 5 th May, 2015 wherein
information was provided by this office on RTI query placed at S1.No.3 point@ in the RTI
application which was nil.
The information pertaining to point b at S1.No.3 of RTI application is as under:
This Directorate has published the following Journals/Magazine/other items during
20 10, 2011 and 2012 is enclosed alongwith the pages of each articles.
These books namely Unnat Krishi, Agricultural Extension Review, Intensive
Agriculture and Krishi Vistar Samiksha are being sold @ Rs.2/ - per issue and are not
available free of cost.
As per RTI Act, 2005 Section 7, Sub-section (1) there is a provision of Rs.2/- per
pages is require to be deposited by applicant through Demand Draft in favour of Drawing &
Disbursing Officer (DD), Directorate of Extension (DOE), New Delhi.
You are, therefore, requested to forward your request of the concern issue of the
magazines/journal published by thi Directorate alongwith the DD (Rs.2/- per each page in
multiplication of required number of pages) to DDO, DOE, New Delhi.
Your reque t alongwith DD should rech this office within 30 days after receiving of this
letter for providing the material.
. In case the DD alongwith request is not received by this offic ,it is presumed that you
are not interested to get the material and then the case will be closed.
