STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH SPEROWAY
Entered into a strategic partnership with Speroway, a Canadian Registered Charity, in operation since
2004. Agreements were finalized in November 30th 2016 between Speroway, Together Works Society and
Gerry Caseres, Director in Nicaragua. In August 2016. Ken Forbes, President of Speroway visited our
projects in Jiquilillo and witnessed first hand how the lives of so many families are being transformed
through our efforts. Discussions resulted in a collaborative partnership agreement that provides
significant and multiple benefits to all stakeholders. Donations supporting Jiquilillo projects through
Speroway are eligible for charitable tax receipts, which was a key objective set out by our board to
accomplish this past year. Together Works Society’s focus on advocacy, marketing and fundraising will
support all Speroway/Jiquilillo projects and initiatives.
I strongly believe that TOGETHER, we will continue making a difference and strengthen our abilities
in creating lasting impacts in the communities we serve. It has been a privilege working with each and
everyone of you and I look forward to an exciting year filled with passion, love and commitment to serve
the beautiful people of Nicaragua.
Sincerely,
Mary Lendway, President
