Architect Draftsman at Award-Winning Design Studio
Santa Barbara based Architecture Firm, AB design studio inc, is hiring ambitious,
talented people to join our dynamic studio environment. Applicants should have a
minimum level of 1-3 years of experience. For the designers at heart. If you are an

aspiring architectural professional, we want you.
AB design studio is a full service architecture, interior design and planning studio.The
studio is led by founders - Clay Aurell and Josh Blumer - who are supported by a team
of passionate, agile, and creative architects and associates. Since 2005, AB design
studio has been committed to a thoughtful and rigorous design and planning process.
With a focus on collaboration, we encourage an openness to new ideas and creative
interpretation. We believe that good design positively effects our daily experiences, from
site design to the architectural detail.

friendly and sustainable practices and material selection. We strive to stay at the

environmentally responsible and innovative. As global environmental concerns increase,
it is imperative that design professionals and their clients combine efforts to ensure that
the built environment can sustain the future for which it is intended. We focus on local
and global standards that address green architecture, sustainability, adaptive re-use
and other techniques that allow for quality built environments.
Experience with ArchiCAD is strongly desired. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and
Adobe Creative Suite is strongly preferred.
This position includes responsibility for all aspects of project delivery including client
interaction, design, production of plans/specifications and consultant coordination.
