This program ensures that all students know how to evacuate our buses safely in the event of an emergency. It also reminds students of saferiding practices. Safety Patrols and bus drivers have a very important role at our school. They oversee the safety of your child on the bus each day on the way to and from Macphail. If you have any concerns about the safety of your child travelling to and from school, please contact the office. Information for ALL Kindergarten students!! Since you registered your child last year, they have likely received their 4-6 year boosters for Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Polio, Measles, Mumps, Rubella and chickenpox. Doctor’s offices do not automatically send this information to us. Public Health is required by law to have immunization records for all students registered in all schools. To ensure that we have all records up to date for your child, please notify us of any immunizations given since your child has turned four years of age. It is recommended to receive these boosters as soon after your child turns four, and not delaying until a later age. Immunization protects children from many serious diseases that are easily spread in schools. You can do this by: Scanning the yellow immunization record and emailing to [email protected]; Fax to: 519-376-7782 or Call: 519-376-9420 or 1-800-263-3456 Volunteers at Macphail Volunteers are an important part of our school community!
