Dangerous Goods forbidden to by transported in/ as passenger
baggage or on one’s person:
•
Disabling devices such as mace, pepper spray, etc. containing an irritant or
incapacitating substance
•
Electro shock weapons (e.g. Tasers) containing dangerous goods such as
explosives, compressed gases, lithium batteries, etc
•
Strike anywhere matches
•
Lighters filled with unabsorbed liquid fuel, lighter fuel, refills, blue flame lighters,
cigar lighter
•
Medical Liquid oxygen systems filled scuba diving bottles, etc
•
Alcoholic beverages with more than 70% alcohol by volume,
•
Explosive substances, e.g. Dynamite, fireworks, ammunition other than those
permitted in Table 2.3A, grenades, flares, sparklers
•
Poisonous and/or flammable gases e.g camping gas cartridges
•
Flammable or combustible liquids and solids such as: fuels, lighter refills, paint,
paint thinners, varnish, glues, alcohol over 70%, fire starters
•
Oxidizers, e.g stains, bleaches, fertilizers
•
Organic peroxides, e.g. reacting resin hardener, swimming pool chemicals,
•
Toxic substances, e.g. pesticides, insecticides
•
Infectious substances, e.g. diagnostic specimens, samples
•
Radioactive material
•
Corrosive substances, e.g. mercury, acids and bases
•
Magnetized material
Dangerous Goods that may carry on board
provided they conform with the regulations:

Alcoholic beverages of not more than 70%
•
Battery powered wheelchairs/mobility aids
•
Camping stoves (empty/drained of all liquid fuel)
•
Non flammable/non toxic Aerosols, for sporting or home use
•
Oxygen or air, gaseous, cylinders required for medical use
•
Portable electronic devices (including medical devices) containing lithium metal or
lithium ion cells or batteries
•
Energy efficient light bulbs
•
1 lighter (unless forbidden as above)
•
Pace makers
•
Heat producing articles
•
Insulated packagings containing refrigerated liquid nitrogen
•
Lithium-Ionen Batterien
•
Hair curlers filled with hyro carbon gas
•
