Responsible to teach required and elective courses in Christian Ethics at graduate and postgraduate levels through the Ph.D. Responsible to develop courses covering all aspects of the
academic field and to work as a scholar and consultant on current issues.

for a nonpartisan, organization of retired military leaders addressing issues in military personnel
policy.

recommendations, maintained liaison with other offices and organizations within the Department of Navy, Department of Defense, and other government agencies. Prepared Congressional
testimony. Supervised review, evaluation, validation and justification of all aspects of Navy and
Marine Corps manpower programs. Represented the Department of the Navy and the H. W. Bush
Administration in speeches and other public appearances.

as liaison with key constituent groups, represented the Senator in public debate on domestic
policy issues, initiated and planned a statewide conference on infant mortality involving private,
state, and federal resources.

Combat service in the Vietnam War. Held a variety of positions involving: leadership, management, administration, communications, intelligence, public affairs, electronic warfare, and
military strategy. Maintained and operated a $12 million dollar electronic warfare system.
Managed and directed up to 80 working subordinates. Managed the largest account of classified
security material in the Pacific. As qualified Officer of the Deck for the USS Kitty Hawk, had
periodic operating responsibility for a $2 billion dollar super carrier with over 100 aircraft and
over 5,000 men and officers.
