The Blue Dog Parent Guide
and CD
A colorful and engaging way to
prevent dog bites. Children between
the ages of 5 and 9 are at greater risk
of being bitten by a dog than any other
demographic group. Most dog bite
injuries in young children occur during
everyday activities in the home with a
familiar dog. Because most child-dog
interactions that result in a bite are
initiated by the child, it is important to
educate the children about how to
properly communicate with dogs. The

state of California allows qualified
patients to carry and use small
amounts of marijuana for medical
purposes. However, MCB Camp
Pendleton is federal property and
does not recognize this state

Raspberry Mocha
Mousse Parfaits
Ingredients:
• 4 1-ounce squares unsweetened
chocolate
• 1 14-ounce can Eagle Brand
sweetened condensed milk
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 tablespoon instant coffee
crystals
• 1 teaspoon hot water
• 1 cup (1/2 pint) heavy cream
• 1 can refrigerated whipped
cream
• 2 cups frozen raspberries
Directions:
Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe
dish on high in 20-second intervals
until melted. Stir until smooth.
Pour sweetened condensed milk
into large bowl. Beat in melted
chocolate and vanilla extract. Dissolve
coffee in hot water. Add to chocolate
mixture, beating until smooth. Chill
15 minutes. Chill beaters and mixing
bowl from electric mixer for
10 minutes in preparation for the
next step.
Beat heavy cream in chilled bowl
with chilled beaters until stiff. Fold into
chilled chocolate mixture. Set aside
8 raspberries for garnish. Layer eight
parfait glasses as follows: 1/4 cup
chocolate mousse, refrigerated
whipped cream, 1/4 cup raspberries,
1/4 cup chocolate mousse.
Refrigerate parfaits 20 minutes. Just
before serving, garnish each with
refrigerated whipped cream and a
single raspberry.
