Sunapee Resort. The campground is open for reservable stays from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. Do not invite wildlife into the campground or to your campsite. Keep a clean site, dispose of food waste properly and secure all food and heavily scented items in your vehicle at night. Coolers left out are easily opened by raccoons or destroyed by bears. Facilities, Services and Amenities Making a Reservation Mt. Sunapee State Beach, located across the traffic circle at the bottom of the mountain, offers a playground, a large beach, bathhouse, coin operated showers, store, and a boat launch. Reservations may be made by calling ReserveAmerica at 1-877-647-2757 or online at nhstateparks.org. Reservations for organized youth group camping are required and should be made by calling the Concord Office at (603) 271-3556. Youth group reservations are not available online. Activities The park provides a great place for wildlife viewing and bird watching along with a scenic drive along Routes 103A and 103B. This scenic and cultural byway is 25 miles long and borders Lake Sunapee. Enjoy swimming, boating, hiking, canoeing, picnicking, and fishing for salmon and lake trout. Sunapee State Beach between 1 pm and 6 pm.Check out time is 11am. •Payment is due upon registration and must be U.S funds. Only cash or traveler’s check are accepted. They are not permitted at the beach. •Pets and RVs are not permitted in youth group areas. •If the campground office is closed, registration at the self-registration station is required. Provide the requested information on the envelope provided, enclose the fee, and deposit in the designated slot. Thank you for visiting New Hampshire State Parks.
