over 40 years ago as a mechanical engineering
service provider to the power industry. This facility

Our engineering workshop based in the heart
of Yorkshire is a comprehensive heavy
engineering facility. We have an extensive range
of machine tools which, together with our team
of highly skilled craftsmen, consistently deliver
exceptional performance.
GMOS FERRYBRIDGE
is now available to undertake sub-contract machinery
and fabrication services to the UK market.
Significant investment in new equipment, including
the latest CNC machine tools, means we can
manufacture components to the highest standards
and exacting customer requirements.
Spare parts can be manufactured and supplied
to customers’ drawings or, where detailed
manufacturing information is not available
we can re-engineer components, capturing
the required information from samples.

REPAIR AND REFURBISHMENT
Our machine shop has a range of modern
CNC machining centres available to undertake
sub-contract machining and component
manufacture. We have a range of CNC
lathes and modern milling machines.
Our workshop is superbly equipped to deal with a
wide range of components and provides quality
repairs and refurbishment of engineering
equipment, such as pumps, valves and gearboxes.
Specialist Engineering Services
We have specialist skills in the repair of steam, gas
and renewable power plant components.
Blasting Services
We have one of the UK’s largest self-contained grit
blast booths, capable of grit blasting components
up to 50t, 4.6m diameter.
Our workshop can manufacture small precision parts
and large specialist components up to 120 tonnes in
our 5000 sqm facility.
