This trip starts in Leavenworth Indiana for an amazing lunch at the Overlook Restaurant which offers a twenty
mile panoramic vista of the Ohio River and its barge traffic. We will be staying three nights at the Holiday Inn
Cincinnati-Riverfront just across the river in Covington, KY.
Northern Kentucky will be a true adventure or should we say "Ark Encounter" This venue is so massive you can' t
imagine it until you see if for yourself. It is that monumental! We will also visit the Ark' s sister attraction the
Creation Museum, the Garden of Hope, Jungle Jim's International Market and Weberding Carvings. We will travel
on the Queen City River Boat and enjoy a full buffet dinner with some great entertainment that is sure to get your
hands clapping and feet tapping to some SO' s and 60' s, "Oldies but Goodies. " One evening we will have dinner at
the Hofbrauhaus where you will enjoy the German ambiance at the only official Hofbrauhaus outside of Germany.
(The original is in Munich).
• The Ark was constructed with the aid of Amish carpenters; it is built to the approximate measurements of
Noah's Ark, which makes it one and a half football field in length and taller than a four-story house. It is the
world' s largest timber-frame structure. You will experience three levels along ramps, you will see stacks of
cages filled with animals; explore the story of the ark, see Noah' s family' s living quarters and so much
more. You' ll also meet a lifelike animatronic Noah, who will answer in "great detail" from a list of
questions. Lunch will be on your own so that you can enjoy this venue at your own pace.
• A visit to the Garden of Hope, developed by a minister who preached the eulogy at the funeral of John Dillinger. After a trip to Palestine in 1938, Rev Morris Coers conceived the idea of "bringing a bit of the fragrance of that holy place" to America. Overlooking Cincinnati, the garden now includes replicas of the tomb where Jesus was buried, a carpenter shop like the one Joseph worked in and a Spanish chapel, as well as large boulders from the River Jordan. museum is an alternative to the evolutionary natural history museums. See how its
interpretation of the Bible provides an account of the beginning of all things. Take a
journey through a visual presentation of the history of the world, based on its 7 C's of
history: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross and Consum
mation, were they will discover an interpretation of how science confirms biblical
history. You will also be able to visit the Planetarium during our visit. Lunch will be on
