It’s All About Repair
While our adhesives are all formulated for
heavy duty applications, their uses are almost limitless.
Over the years, customers and our employees have tried our
products on almost everything with exceptional results. Repairs have been made on lawn sculptures, yard equipment,
plumbing, coolers, kitchen drawers, sprinkler systems, front
doors, leaky basements, asphalt, glue lam beams, boat
hulls, intake and exhaust manifolds, knee’s, elbows and hips
(o.k. maybe not the last three) and much more than we can
list here. The point is, from heavy duty construction to home
use we’ve got a product for you.
Recently, Municipal Repair Departments have come to us for
solutions for sidewalk and curb repair. We’ve learned that
lawsuits involving injured pedestrians due to cracked concrete sidewalks and curbs are almost commonplace. Reduced county budgets won’t allow replacing 400 square feet
of sidewalk because of 16 lineal feet of cracked concrete but
they’ll certainly appropriate the funds to repair it to avoid future lawsuits. Epoxy products will also hold up better than
inexpensive grout repairs that many municipalities are already using. The city of Dallas (in just one example of municipalities using Ultrabond) goes through thousands of cartridges
of our Ultrabond 1 in the 9 oz. EZ-Mix cartridge annually.
One size usually does not fit all. Different formulas, gel
times and viscosities all have different functions and specialty applications. If you weren’t aware of all we have to

A NEW LOOK FOR
CRACKBOND
We’ve recently changed the Crackbond labeling in order to aid in easier
formula identification. All four formulas are now color coded by name. In
addition, the EZ-MIX style cartridge is now available on special formulas
such as LR321 injection resin and on our new CG-3 capping material.
The CG-3 formula is very fast setting and was specifically engineered for
use in EZ-MIX cartridges in our Crack-Kit. Adhesives Technology offers
one of the broadest ranges in crack injection products because we know
that using the right formula for specific applications is extremely important. Everyone has a different idea of what is a “thin crack” so we put
together the reference guide below to help illustrate which product
matches up best with the crack size.
USING THE PROPER MATERIALS
Required materials: Heavy duty caulking gun (we recommend our TM9HD), capping paste, injection resin, injection ports,
caulking gun, wire brush, protective eye glasses, gloves, tongue depressors or a putty knife.
Crackbond SLV-302: For repairing hair-line cracks as shown in illustration #1 as well as gravity feed applications.
Crackbond LR-321: For repairing medium sized cracks as illustrated in examples #2 through #4
Crackbond CG-3 or CG-300: Use as a capping gel and also for gravity feed applications of large cracks. Example #5
Crackbond LR-321G: Specially formulated for blind side crack injection applications to prevent run-out of material at the
blind side. Best when used in fine, medium & medium large cracks.

Another new addition to the Crackbond line
is JF311. This formula is a two-component,
rapid curing polyurea elastomeric joint filler
material. It is self leveling, 100% solids and
flexible allowing 10-15% movement of installed joint width. It may be used to fill interior control joints or new construction saw
joints on horizontal concrete surfaces. It
was designed for industrial floor applications receiving heavy vehicle traffic and can
be used in exterior applications where minimal joint movement from thermal cycling will
occur. The contents of 22 oz. cartridge will
cover approximately 17 feet of ¼” wide control joints when used with closed cell backer
rod. 53 oz. will cover 41 feet. Call for complete detailed coverage chart.

Miracle Bond was originally formulated for use as a general purpose adhesive for multi-use repair. It’s extreme non-sag consistency can be applied directly to horizontal surfaces for spall repair or to patch failing concrete. Because of it’s “fluffy” viscosity, it can also easily be dispensed without the nozzle and mixed together using an item such as putty knife. When dispensing using a mixing nozzle, a heavy duty caulking gun such as our TM9HD is recommended. Bulk packaging in one gallon kits
