There will be NO tutoring next week due to Spring Break.
Thank you to all students for your cooperation and effort on the PARCC test. We hope to see
positive results by your efforts.
This Friday will be our MLB Opening Day celebration. Your teachers are preparing special baseball
themed lessons for the day. We will have a homerun derby on Friday during 8 th hour for 4/5/6 and
9th hour for 7/8. If you would like to participate in the homerun derby, you can sign up Thursday
and Friday during lunch hour for a chance to be drawn. Everyone is encouraged to wear their
favorite baseball team colors on Friday.
The 7th and 8th grade student council will meet today, during lunch in Mrs. Whightsil's room
Please dismiss track members today at 2:40pm for their meet.
Today’s word of the day is “facetious”. Write a sentence using the word correctly on a piece of
paper with your name on it and drop it in the basket in the office. We will draw a winner to receive
Vandal Vouchers tomorrow morning. Jameson Franklin was able to use yesterday’s word
“pandemonium” correctly in a sentence. Stop by the office to pick up your vouchers.
