Mr Chan Hian Lim

CITATION
Mr Chan Hian Lim, Director of Sensors Division, DSO National Laboratories, was instrumental
in the development of advanced radar systems and concepts for the past 22 years. His work
covered a broad spectrum of surveillance technologies, particularly novel radar
technologies, and provided the SAF with a robust and comprehensive surveillance picture
capability. He also actively forged strategic partnerships with local and overseas academic
and research institutes to strengthen and accelerate the build-up of an indigenous radar
capability. In recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions, Mr Chan is
awarded the DTP 2016 Individual Engineering Award.
