“I have always loved the desert. One sits down on a desert sand

“I have always loved the desert. One sits down on a desert sand dune, sees nothing,
and hears nothing. Yet through the silence something throbs, and gleams...”
― Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince
Dear friends:
On Thursday march 16th, the last day of the conference, we will go on a trip to the
Israeli desert
The Negev. Our place of interest on this trip will be the area of between the
Makhteshim (the craters), which are a unique geological phenomenon of the Israeli
desert. In addition to the beautiful panoramic view, we will be hiking for most of the
day. For lunch and dessert, we are planning an interesting cultural meeting…
Meeting time: 8 a.m.
Meeting place: the parking place (behind building 72 and near the Senate hall)
What to bring: a back pack, sunscreen, a hat, comfortable clothes and shoes, and
some snacks.
Water bottles, lunch and snacks for the way back will be included
(We will be back approximately at 7 p.m.)
See you then
All the best!
Eitan (your tour guide)
