The 8th Annual “Fire House 5K” is a 5K Run and a 1 mile fun run in Covington, Georgia. This race will start and finish at Legion Field.
Incentives: Proceeds will go to "The Covington Fireman's Memorial Scholarship Fund" which provides scholarships to graduating High
School Seniors.
Fun Run: One-mile “Fun” Run ribbons to all participants, Awards to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place male & female runners under 12.
Registration: Pre-registration $20.00 prior to 05/10/17, $25.00 afterwards and on race day. Family /Friends Pack, four for $60 (preregistration and received at same time only). All registration fees are non-refundable. Mail early registration to The Covington Fire
Department, Make checks payable to Covington Fireman’s Memorial Trust, 2101 Pace Street, Covington Georgia 30014.

participants registered by 05/10/17 and as they last on race day. “Please enclose $2.00 extra for 2x and larger shirts”
Course: Runs through scenic downtown Covington, well marked with water available near 1 mile, 2 mile and finish.
Awards: Special custom made pottery awards will be given to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and top three Male/Female
winners in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over, and top M/F Public Safety.
“All Finishers will receive a Finishers Medal”
Directions: I-20 Exit 92 (Alcovy Road), go south to Hwy 278, turn left, go to first light, turn right on Mill Street, park in area of Mill and
Newton Dr. Golf cart shuttles will take to you to the Start/Finish.
