Junior Counselor Application Form March Break Camp 2016 Who should apply: Anyone interested in pursuing a position as a camp counselor, with interest in working with children who likes to be busy, active and have fun. No experience necessary and although completion of the CIT and/or LIT program is an asset, it is not required. Details: Junior Counselors are responsible for assisting Camp Directors and Camp Counselors with in-program delivery and supervision. In return, you receive hands-on experience and on-the-job training. You also receive a performance appraisal at the end of the week as well as ongoing feedback and coaching from supervisors to help you gain the most from your time. Junior Counselors receive an allowance of $100 each week ($20/day) to help recover any costs that may be incurred while volunteering. Required qualifications of all junior counselors in camps include Standard First Aid & CPR C within 2 years and High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development.
