The Alhambra’s Palacio del Partel
Granada’s Alcaiceria Market
popular attraction, The Alhambra - Stretched
along the top of the hill known as La Sabika, the
Alhambra is the stuff of fairy tales. From
outside, its red fortress towers and walls appear
plain, if imposing, rising from woods of cypress
and elm, with the Sierra Nevada forming a
magnificent backdrop. Originally a 9th century
Muslim fortress, the centuries have seen it also
become a palace, mosque, church, Napoleonic
barracks and finally a National Monument
• Free afternoon to discover Granada - the
region’s hippest city still displays it’s Islamic
past feels in a wonderful cultural contrast
• Return to the hotel to prepare for late afternoon
practice at local fields with the Bulldogs staff
• Dinner at the hotel this evening

special Andalucian way of life is distilled into
its purest and most intense form.

fields for practice with the Bulldogs staff

Seville’s Plaza de Espana
Seville - Seville has Andalucia’s most
passionate and portentous Holy Week, the
most festive and romantic annual fair, the best
tapas bars and the most stylish people. It has
more narrow, winding, medieval lanes and
romantic, hidden plazas soaked in the scent
of orange blossom than half of Andalucía’s
other cities put together. It’s the home of
flamenco and bullfighting, and its heritage of
art and architecture (Roman, Islamic, Gothic,
Renaissance, baroque) is without rival
• Later, enjoy a pre-game meal at a preselected restaurant then transfer to the
second friendly game of the tour against a
Seville area club team
• Return to the hotel after the game

women's football events and the USA
emerged victorious on 7 occasions!

Estadio Algarve for the Gold Medal Game of
the 2011 Algarve Cup
• Later, check in to a local hotel for 1 night
• Dinner at the hotel this evening
Dusk at Tower Bridge
few hours exploring Faro - Algarve’s capital has
a more distinctly Portuguese feel than many

well-maintained parks and plazas and an old
town full of outdoor cafés and pedestrian lanes.
Marvelously preserved medieval quarters
harbor curious museums and churches,
including a wholly unique bone chapel
