Attendance & Behavior Requirements
Attendance : Regular attendance at school is required.
A student may have no more than 10 absences/tardies
from the start of school through the end of the 3rd
marking period of 8th grade. Exceptions may be made
at the principal and Mrs. Blair’s discretion. A doctor’s
note may be needed for extended/repeated absences.
Parents and students will sign a contract that
they understand these conditions after signing up.
Attendance & Behavior Requirements
Behavior: Students need to show that they are mature enough to handle being away from
home without their parents, that they are capable of making good decisions and being
respectful of others.
Going on this trip is a privilege and not a right. Any write-ups, suspensions from school or
repeated undesirable behaviors will be reviewed by the administration and Mrs. Blair. A
student may be removed from the trip depending on the incident or behavior.
A student may also be removed from the trip for engaging in illegal activities outside of
school (drinking, shoplifting, etc.).
The administration and Mrs. Blair’s decision is final.
Each student’s behavior will be monitored from the onset of the trip sign-up (November 16,
2015) through our departure.
Parents and students will sign a contract that
they understand these conditions after signing up.
Attendance & Behavior Requirements
Any student who is suspended from school during the trip may not attend.
Parents will be informed in advance by Mrs. Blair of ongoing/repeated behavioral
infractions or attendance issues that will jeopardize the student’s ability to attend the
trip, when possible.
In the event that your son/daughter are removed from the trip for attendance or behavior
issues, you may not be able to receive a refund. This will depend on whether or not you
purchased the anytime protection plan when enrolling.
Students who have already received a referral for behavior, have excessive absences (>3)
or ≥ 4 tardies or a 4/5 in citizenship for MP 1 may be placed on probation. They will not
be allowed to sign up until they show that they have corrected the issue. They should see
me on what they need to do to be removed from probation. Any student who signs up for
the trip before they are off probation will be removed. This may result in the loss of any
money paid.
Parents and students will sign a contract that
they understand these conditions after signing up.
