funny prize) these books are full of humour and quirkiness,
and they have loads of illustrations. This is the third Tom
Gates book, where Tom has the school sports day, school
fair, and his birthday to look forward to. What could
possibly go wrong? Suggested reading level: 9-12 years.
Big Nate started out as a comic strip, and this was Jeff
Kinney’s inspiration for the Wimpy Kid books. This book
is a compilation of some of the funniest strips – highly
recommended for lovers of graphic novels and comics. If
you enjoy this one, also try Big Nate flips out and Big
Nate goes for broke. Suggested age level: 8-12 years.
