Athenian and Spartan Government Flowchart: As a
group we will work together to create our own Athenian and
Spartan government flowcharts that will not only include the
hierarchy of positions but also a brief description of each
position. This will be a helpful visual for future studying! (20
min)

Key Terms Bingo: Grab a sheet of paper and make up a
bingo card, using the key terms from last week instead of
numbers. As definitions are read out, cross out the key term that
corresponds with it. First person to make a line wins! (20 min)

Tic-Tac-Toe: In two teams play a game of tic-tac-toe.
However, to choose a square to place your x or o on, your team
must correctly answer the squares question. (20 min)
Closer Activity: Post test survey. We just finished our first
test so let’s figure out what we did well on and what we can
improve for next time. (10 min)
Bounce Back Information:
Bounce Back is a mentorship program which provides support to first year students who are
seeking help after a difficult start at Carleton. Participants are matched with trained CSAS
Facilitators who meet with them weekly throughout the Winter term of their first year, and
reconnect in the Fall of their second year to ensure that they are back on track.
