Athletes in Action (AIA) is an international
sports ministry striving to see Christfollowers on every team in every sport in
every nation. AIA’s World Training and
Resource center is located in Xenia, Ohio
and features the global headquarters
offices, a 6 field synthetic turf Sports
Complex, a high and low ropes course,
residence halls/retreat center, and a
banquet center.
 Assist with setting up and taking down
equipment for challenge course events
 Serve as low-course facilitator, which will
entail assisting with leading groups
through our low course events
 Serve as ground assistant/exit ladder
operator for high course
 Assist with harness fitting and belaying
for power pole events
 Assist with maintaining equipment and
grounds
 Opportunity to help teams and other
groups grow in their teamwork and group
cohesion.
 Mixture of direct ministry with people as
well as serving behind the scenes.
 Experience working outdoors on the
courses
 Financial compensation ($9.50/hr)
(begins after initial training period)
 Flexible hours/work schedule

 Ability to lift and/or carry items weighing
up to 50 pounds
 Some experience with challenge courses
is preferred, but not required.
 You may be expected to work some
weekends.
 You would be expected to attend 2-3
days of training provided by our staff.
 Current CPR and First Aid Certification
(must be obtained prior to start date)
AIA’s Challenge Course is typically used by
sports teams, college groups, youth groups,
or school groups who desire to grow in their
team unity or character development. We
are looking for part-time facilitators to
serve alongside our AIA Challenge Course
staff to operate AIA’s course.
