Amazing things can happen with your support! Are you lucky enough to go through every day without feeling depressed, confused, agitated or alone? One in five of us will experience these symptoms at some point in our lifetime, due to a mental health issue. Please join us as we walk to support mental health recovery programs in our area. We use funds raised at our Walk for Mental Wellness for some pretty amazing, cost-effective programs: NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide a place of safety where all persons affected by a mental health concern feel accepted and can build hope through peer based programming, and deliver education, suicide prevention, and support to family members and the community. Under our umbrella of services, we're able to bring together nationally-recognized programs and local peer-supported activities. We are supported, in part, by funds provided by: MOCA House Recovery Center, which provides First Presbyterian Church of Wooster supportive and educational opportunities to strengthen coping and life skills Peer-to-peer support groups and wellness Join the fun!
