School (RPDS). The proceeds raised from Capers provide essential revenue to supplement tuition,
and support a variety of mission-based activities. Over its 27-year history, some of the projects
Capers helped financially support include updates to the campus and facilities, implementing cutting
edge technology such as iPads and the Mac Computer Lab, innovative academic curricula like
Singapore Math, and providing need-based financial assistance.

Auction Rules
• Auction bidding begins at 6:30 p.m.
• The auction will close by sections at 9:45 and 10:00 p.m. (see schedule in program).
• Values of items auctioned are based on donors’ estimates and are not warranted by RPDS.
• Each item in the auction will have an accompanying bid sheet.
• Enter your bid number and the amount you wish to bid on the bid sheet (adhering to the stated minimum rise).
• Bid sheets for all silent auction items must be filled in completely and legibly with your bid number. Unidentifiable bids and those not
adhering to the stated minimum rise will be disqualified.
• When the auction closes, the highest bidder will be considered the purchaser of the item and circled by an auction official
• Proxy bids will be added during the bidding. The winning bid will be circled.
• All items should be paid for the evening of the Auction. All sales are final and there are no exchanges or refunds. Items may be paid for
by cash, check, MasterCard, American Express or Visa.
• Unless otherwise specified, all auction items and services must be used within one year of March 15, 2014. Specific dates must be
arranged between donor and successful bidder.
• All auction items must be claimed by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014. RPDS will not be responsible for items left after that date.
• Winning bidder numbers and bid amount will be left for viewing on each item. Tangible items may be taken with the winning bidder
on the night of the event. Gift certificates will be mailed to the item winners following the event.
• When a silent auction table closes for bidding, and there are multiple bidders trying to bid for a particular item, the last three bidders
will be eligible to participate in a “bid-off.” Bid-off participants will make a single written bid in an amount not less than the last amount
bid on the bid card. The person with the highest bid will be the fortunate one who takes home the popular item. We encourage friendly
competition to allow for the bidding to be interesting and entertaining. To be fair to all auction participants, please refrain from “camping
out” in front of any silent auction item.
A printing deadline made it necessary for us to list additional items in the catalog addendum.

Mr. Ron for the Day
Your child and a friend will spend one day exploring the entire school campus. They
will wear a uniform, hat and get their own official walkie talkie. The keys to the castle
will be theirs when they are Mr. Ron for the Day. They will assist on all maintenance
calls - including plumbing, electrical, AC or heat repairs. They will see the control
room with the 12 cameras monitoring campus activities. As an added bonus, they will
ride in the golf cart and communicate with school staff on the radio. When hunger
strikes, your child, a friend and Mr. Ron will go to Al's Pizza for lunch and stop

SLEEPOVER! With Miss Denise and Mrs. Prohaska
Looking for a night of girly-girl fun? Six girls (currently in grades five or six) will be
treated to all sorts of sleepover fun with Mrs. P and Miss Denise. We will drop our
things off at Mrs. P's house, have a snack and then head to the Town Center for an
afternoon and evening of shopping (and make-up at Sephora!). We will either eat
dinner at the Town Center or return to Mrs. P's for a home-cooked meal. And that's just
the beginning! Facials, manicures, pedicures, baking our nearly-world-famous
sleepover cake and lots of laughter will fill the night (and maybe a phone call or two to
unsuspecting teachers!). After breakfast the next morning, we will meet back at RPDS
(or a mutually agreeable spot) for pick-up.

Lock-In with the Coaches
Stay after school on a Friday, enjoy TEAM, and then begin an evening, followed by a
long morning, of non-stop fun! Basketball, baseball, nerf wars, swimming, hide & go
seek, video games and an occasional rest or meal. Students will be picked up at 8:00
am on Saturday morning. You and seven friends in grades four-six can enjoy this
once-in-a-lifetime experience with the coaches on a mutually agreeable Friday.
According to the coaches, "not only will you have Friday evening free, your child will

X-Box Gamer Night
This opportunity will rock any RPDS gamer's world! Your child and two of his or her
friends get to hook up the X-Box 360 to the SMART board and play lots of fun games.
Students can bring their own games or play Mr. Franklin's. When hunger sets in, the
group will walk to get pizza for dinner. This experience will be from 3:15 to 7:15 on a
mutually agreeable Friday afternoon.

Bible Teacher for the Day
RPDS students become sixth graders before you know it, but let them get a taste of
school leadership with this opportunity. Your student will join Mrs. Baldwin in one of
the week's biggest productions - Thursday Chapel. The winning bidder will help
organize and present a chapel, enjoy lunch with Mrs. Baldwin and help teach third
grade Bible. This special day must be scheduled on a mutually agreeable Thursday
before the end of May 2014.

masterpiece out of clay. You will be able to choose the project from a list. Your
