In groups of 3 or 4 you are going to create a project. You will create a brochure giving
recommendations to Spanish 1 students on best practices for success in Spanish class.
Recommendations: Since you have already had two years of Spanish study, you should be able to
think back on your experience of learning a new language for the first time and come up with some
helpful suggestions and recommendations.
Your recommendations may take any form you choose. You may: create a color trifold brochure, a skit, a
rap, powerpoint/keynote presentation, poster, mobile… etc. You may use personal pictures or find
pictures on the Internet to illustrate the advice and recommendations you plan to pass on to the Spanish
1s. You must include a minimum of 10 recommendations and pictures (or actions in the case of a
play or rap) illustrating them. All ten of your recommendations should use a different suggestive
phrase: Les sugiero que… No es una buena idea que… Les recomiendo que… etc. Be sure to use the
subjunctive
correctly with all your recommendations.
You must turn in this project description sheet with the names of your group members when you
present your project. Any inappropriate recommendations/actions/themes will cause the project to
receive a 0. I recommend that you have me proof your projects at least two days before the due
date but proofing is not required.
You will have two class periods to prepare your projects.
