• Go round the group everyone introducing themselves

10:30 Putting out – Demonstrate putting out trampolines and setting up end mats etc
Trampoline checks

11:00 Warm ups – Number the group
Floor warm up – Do a floor warm up with the whole group
Include reps of 10 jumps with arms in different positions

Getting on and off the trampoline

Spotters put their hands on top and press the trampolinist down
NEVER JUMP OFF THE TRAMPOLINE ONTO THE FLOOR
Talk about the relevance of centre of mass over the base when bouncing

(3 small bounces , seat drop and bounce to feet)
At take off
Stretch into the seat drop

Good leg & feet form, correct hand placement
Press with the hands and lift the arms to return to stand
3:30 Front drop – standard teaching of basic landings
Common faults:
Diving forwards
Landing unevenly (knees first/elbows first)
Legs not accurate
