Planned Parenthood’s 2014-2015 Annual Report1
 During fiscal year 2014-2015, Planned Parenthood received nearly $554 million in taxpayer
funding, or more than $1.5 million per day2 in the form of government grants, contracts, and
Medicaid reimbursements. Taxpayer funding is up nearly 5% from the previous fiscal year
($528 million).
 Taxpayer funding accounts for 43% of Planned Parenthood’s overall revenue.3
 Despite the increase in taxpayer funding, cancer screening and prevention services dropped
by 27% in just one year, and by 57% since 2010.4
 Contraceptive services dropped by nearly 18% in just one year, and are down 20% since
2010.5
 STI/STD prevention and treatment services are down nearly 6%, and “other services” are
down by 27% over one year.6 The only major category to see a slight increase (under 4%) is
“other women’s health services,” which includes pregnancy tests and prenatal services.7
 Overall, total services dropped by nearly 11% in just one year, and are down 14% since
2010.8
 Unique patients dropped by 200,000 in one year, and by 500,000 since 2010, nearly a 17%
drop.9
 Planned Parenthood performed 323,999 abortions, a slight 1% decrease over the previous year
(327,653).10
 Over the past three reported years (2012-2014), Planned Parenthood has performed nearly
one million abortions (978,818).11
 Abortions made up 94% of Planned Parenthood’s pregnancy resolution services, while
prenatal care and adoption referrals accounted for only 5% (17,419) and 0.6% (2,024),
respectively.12
 For every adoption referral, Planned Parenthood performed 160 abortions.13
 Despite the drop in services provided, Planned Parenthood reported nearly $59 million in excess
revenue for the fiscal year, and more than $1.4 billion in net assets.14
