How about adding some prairie points, corner stones or even a pieced piano keys border? But, which is best to add the most interest and not detract from what you have already done? And, how do you figure out how much fabric you’ll need for those borders? In this technique class you will be making samples of all of the above borders that you can reference for years to come. Now that your quilt top (jacket, tote, table runner, placemats, etc.) is complete, let’s get busy finishing. Scallops, or rounded corners? Straight grain or on the bias binding? Blunt end or mitered corners? What about a corded, false or two colored binding? Hand sew or machine it with a decorative stitch and gathered eyelet? Get all your questions answered, and any more you can think of, in this lively and informative class. A follow up to Happy Endings 101: Borders, this is the next step in the “Git ‘er done” series.
