The Density Magic Triangle is used as an aid to remember the formulas to
solve density equations. Here’s how it’s used:
To solve for density, put your finger over the letter D in the triangle. You get this formula:
Density = Mass ÷ Volume
To solve for mass, put your finger over the letter M in the triangle. You get this formula:
Mass = Density x Volume
To solve for volume, put your finger over the letter V in the triangle. You get this formula:
Volume = Mass ÷ Density
