Virginia Beach 2268 Helps Santa with Local Children
On Thursday December 19th Virginia Beach 2268 Members helped
Santa and Mrs. Santa deliver some Christmas gifts to the very good
children in the Virginia Beach Department of Human Services
Playgroup!! Susan L. Collins, Child Development Playgroup Director,
reached out to our lodge for help with the eight kid’s wish lists ranging
in age from seventeen months to four years old. Santa and Mrs. Claus
arrived and handed out toys!! And stockings filled with goodies!! The
smiles on the kids’ faces were priceless as Santa chuckled, and Mrs.
Claus fussed!! Great time was had by all. Thank you to all members
who contributed gifts and took time off from work that day to make a
child's Christmas special.
