Classroom Moving Days,
January 2 & 3
We are happy to announce that the eight
classroom modular is in the final stages of preparation and
will be ready for classes to move in over winter break. The
tentative move in dates will be Monday, January 2 and
Tuesday, January 3 if the construction is completed on time.
When the move days happen, we will need strong arms and
willing hands to get the classrooms ready before students
return on January 5. Come ready to work off those holiday
calories, and stay for a few hours or more as you are able.
Tentative Move Day Schedule
 Monday, January 2 beginning at 8:30 a.m.– Move
classes into the new modular building
 Tuesday, January 3, beginning at 8:30 a.m.-Move
remaining classrooms
 Lunch for volunteers will be provided by LA PTO
 Watch for more details in the coming weeks on how you
can help us with the classroom transitions. Thank you, LA
volunteers!

Packs of Hope– Donate by December 12
This year for our Giving Tree, the Lincoln Academy Honor Society students are
collecting items to help children entering the Foster Care system. Packs of Hope
partners with the community and county human service agencies to provide backpacks filled with
essential clothing items to children and youth who are transitioning into out-of-home or foster
care. Our Packs of Hope collection is taking place now through December 12. Here are some
ways you and your family can help:
Fill a backpack: Choose a
size (newborn to extra large
for teens) and have fun shopping! Each Pack includes: a
new outfit,
pajamas, socks, underwear,
sweatshirt, toothbrush, and
book or toy. No need to buy a
backpack! Bring your items
in a closed bag to the Giving
Tree in the lobby.
*We request all items to be
new/unused and consistent in
size for each Pack, thank you.
