MARSS 04 Edit Summary Status End Codes by District
Local or Statewide Report: Local
Description: This is a district-level list of all Status End codes with an indication of how many
students were reported under each category. All codes will be listed whether or not students
were reported with that Status End code. The race-ethnicity shown is the legacy values where
a student can be identified in only one category rather than the newer categories in which a
student can be identified in multiple categories. The counts are cumulative throughout the
school year to date. Students with more than one enrollment record will be included on each
different Status End code for which s/he was reported in this district or charter school. Records
with local errors are excluded from this report.
Discrete Values: None.
Sort Order: Counts are provided in Status End code numerical order.
Uses: Use this report to verify the number of students reported under each Status End code,
percentage of each who are male or female, and the counts by race/ethnicity and gender at the
district level. For example, for a district or charter school with seniors, make sure that graduates
have been reported with Status End code 08.
Column Headings
MARSS Status End Codes – The Status End code value and brief description. For a more
detailed description refer to the MARSS Manual, Data Definitions section.
Total Male – Total number of males reported by Status End code.
Total Female – Total number of females reported by Status End code.
Student Total – Total number of students reported by Status End code.
% Male – The percent of the students who are male by Status End code.
% Female – The percent of students who are female by Status End code.
% Minority – The percent of the student total who are reported as other than white.
Am Indian/M – The number of students reported as American Indian males by Status End code.
Am Indian/F -- The number of students reported as American Indian females by Status End
code.
Asian/Pac Isl/M – The number students reported as Asian/Pacific Islander males by Status End
code.
Asian/Pac Isl/F -- The number of students reported as Asian/Pacific Islander females by Status
End.
Hispanic/M -- The number of students reported as Hispanic males by Status End code.
Asian/Pac Is/F -- The number of students reported as Asian/Pacific Islander females by Status
End.
Black/M -- The number of students reported as Black males by Status End code.
Black/F -- The number of students reported as Hispanic females by Status End code.
White/M -- The number of students reported as White males by Status End code.
White/F -- The number of students reported as White females by Status End code.
