encouraged to provide complete information for further contact. We also
encourage all visitors to stop by the Visitor Welcome area in the Narthex
immediately following the worship service.
ENTER TO WORSHIP
This is a holy hour. We invite you to enter this sanctuary with joy and
reverence. We invite members and visitors to be seated near the front
of the sanctuary to enhance our sense of community in worship. When
you have taken your seat, spend a few moments in quiet reflection as you
prepare your heart for worship. If the service has already begun, please
enter quietly by one of the side aisles. Please remember to turn off all cell
phones and pagers.
RESOURCES FOR HEARING AND/OR VISUAL IMPAIRMENT
Hearing assistance devices and large print hymnals are available for those
who have such need. Please see an usher for more information.

ABOUT TODAY’S WORSHIP
The Sanctuary flowers are given to the glory of God and in loving memory of Bailey and
Sarah Denny Williamson and Emery and Bessie Brandt Denny by Jeff and Sally Williamson
Greaser.
We welcome flutist, Bruce Tabb, back to worship with us again today. Bruce is the
brother of Debra DeCamillis. He is from Wilson, studied at the Cleveland Institute of Music
and at Yale, and has lived and worked in Eugene, OR, for the last couple of decades. He is
an Assistant Professor at the University of Oregon in Eugene. It is always wonderful to have
him share his musical gift with us at HBBC!
SUPER SENIOR GAMEDAY--TUESDAY AT 10 AM
Calling all of our Movers and Shakers, and their friends and neighbors for a fun weekday
activity! We will be having Super Senior GameDay every Tuesday morning, beginning this
week. Each GameDay will be different, with different board and card games to play, but
for our kick-off, we’ll have BINGO and door prizes! We hope you’ll come join us for some
fellowship and fun!
GIVE BLOOD!
On June 29 from 9:00-1:30 pm, HBBC will host a Red Cross Blood Drive in the Fellowship
Hall. This is an easy way to offer life-giving aid to someone in desperate need. Megan and
Madison Pendergraft will have a table in the main hallway near the fellowship hall for the
next few Sundays so that you may sign up for a time. You can also find directions to register
online on our website (www.hbbc.org).
MINISTERIAL PRAYER CARDS
Summer Prayer Cards can be found around the church and in the front of the Friendship
Pad in each pew in the Sanctuary. Please fill out these cards with needs that you would like
our Ministerial Staff to pray over. They will meet throughout the summer in times of focused
prayer over the needs of the congregation. You can also find an online Prayer Request form
under “Upcoming Opportunities” on the homepage of our website: www.hbbc.org.
2016 HUBERT AND LOLA LEDFORD MISSION ENDOWMENT FUND REQUESTS
If you would like to request funding for a 2016 mission project through the Ledford
Missions Endowment Fund, please submit your proposal to the Ledford Missions
Fund Council by July 31, 2015. The Council will review requests in August and bring
recommendations for distribution of available funds at the congregation’s September
business meeting.
This fund was established through a gift by the late Hubert F. Ledford, a longtime stalwart
member of the congregation. To be eligible for funding, a project must conform to our
congregation’s definition of missions... “the deliberate and diligent effort of the congregation,
under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and
deed to as many people as possible locally and throughout the world, both Christian and
non-Christian.”
Application forms are available at www.hbbc.org under Forms, or may be obtained from
Christine Moore in the church office. Completed forms must be returned by July 31.
COME HELP IN THE GARDEN!
Things are beginning to happen quickly out at “Dolly’s Garden.” Peas and green beans, okra,
watermelons and cantaloupe, onions and squash are up and growing fast. The 68 various
kinds of tomato plants are growing rapidly and already starting to bloom! The amount of
work needed is growing too! With that in mind we will be having work days each Saturday
morning from 8 to 12 beginning Saturday, June 6. There is always a need for labor in a
garden whether you have a green thumb or not. Right now, we are in need of help to re-plant
seeds that didn’t germinate, plant eggplant seedlings, pull mulch up on the rows of plants,
pull weeds, water, and we need your input for future planning. Contact John Cashwell at
919-971-2180 or [email protected]. The address for the garden is 504 South Main
St., Rolesville, NC.
