What are the things that you find yourself worrying about? Why do you think these things occupy your attention? 2. What do you think of this statement by Dave Egner, “Worry is the preoccupation with the painful consequences of what might happen.” To sum it up he concludes, “Worriers live in the future. They spend a disproportionate amount of time speculating on what might occur, and then fearing the worst” (What Can I Do About Worry?) 3. Why do we so often feel free of worry one day and then suddenly find ourselves paralyzed by it the next? Think of the last major issue which you worried about.
