STS TECHNOLOGY
tvSTS is a compatibility agent, pH buffer and defoamer all in one container. The compatibility agent keeps
products in solution to prevent mixing problems and improve the effectiveness of the tank mix. A pH buffer
lowers spray water pH to optimize the effectiveness of pesticides and fertilizers. A de-foamer reduces foam
in the tank to make tank mixing more efficient and to minimize the loss of active ingredients.
tvSTS
• Ensures stability and compatibility of tank mixtures.
• Improves water pH and effectiveness of all ingredients in the spray tank.
• De-foams to keep products in solution.
• Enhances the performance of the tank mixture.
• Increases the spreading and coverage of spray solutions on leaf surfaces.
• Economical and easy to use
STS BENEFITS
tvSTS helps you target the most active ingredient right to the source of the problem by providing a more
uniform spray mix. Use tvSTS whenever you spray as an integral part of your spray program. You get peace
of mind knowing that you are improving your tank mixtures and getting more uniform applications.
HOW TO USE IT
Putting tvSTS to Work in Your Tank
tvSTS combines three industry-proven products in to one container. It helps tank mixtures stay in solution.
It lowers water pH to optimize effectiveness of chemical mixtures, and helps reduce of foam. When applied
at higher rates, tvSTS also increases the spreading and coverage of spray solutions on leaf surfaces.
Use 1-4 pints of tvSTS per 100 gallons of spray solution to prevent antagonistic tank mixing conditions
and prevent foam. Use 3-6 pints of tvSTS per 100 gallons of spray solution to correct tank mixing
incompatibilities and to knock down foam.
MIXING
In the absence of specific mixing instructions found on the pesticide label, fill the spray tank with at least
50% of the desired finished carrier volume. When premixing in a mixing vessel or inductor, fill with at
least 20% of the desired finished carrier volume . While the carrier is agitating, add tank mix ingredients in
the following order.
1. tvSTS
2. AMS, dry formulations (WP,DF,WDG,SP), and dry drift retardants.
3. Liquid drift retardants and flowable formulations (F & FL)
4. Liquid concentrates, suspension and microencapsulated (LC,SC,ME)
5. Emulsifiable concentrates (E,EL or EC)
6. Solutions and soluble liquids (S or SL)
7. Soluble micronutrients, liquids or suspension fertilizers
8. Water conditioners and other adjuvants (COC,HSOC,MSO,NIS)
9. Finishes filling to desired spray volume level, and continue agitation.
