Tylan Soluble Mixing Guide
®
Indications:
For the control of porcine proliferative enteropathies (PPE,
ileitis) associated with Lawsonia intracellularis when followed
immediately by TYLAN Type A medicated article in feed.
For the treatment and control of swine dysentery caused by
Brachyspira hyodysenteriae.
Tylan Soluble Mixing Conversions for Water Medicators:
Tylan Soluble should be mixed to provide 250 mg per gallon of
drinking water when using water medicators. Each jar contains
100 grams (100,000 mg) of tylosin.

Directions:
• One jar of Tylan Soluble provides active ingredient (tylosin)
to treat 400 gallons of drinking water.
• Tylan Soluble should be mixed to provide 250 mg of tylosin per
gallon of drinking water.
• Always add the water to powder. Do not pour powder into water.
• Treat for 3-10 days, depending on severity of the condition.
• Mix fresh solution daily.
• Only medicated water should be provided.

Example: If your medicator ratio is 128 and you plan to mix 4 gallons of
stock solution, you should use 1.28 jars of Tylan Soluble (0.32 jars/gallon
x 4 gallons = 1.28 jars).
Conversions:
128 oz = 1 gallon
16 fluid oz = 1 pint
8 pints = 1 gallon
2 pints = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon
